Yes, a valid referral from your GP or specialist is required before booking an appointment.

You or your referring doctor can email or call my rooms directly. Once we receive the referral, we’ll be in touch to schedule your consultation.

Cancer cases are prioritised and usually seen within a week. For all other conditions, appointments are typically available within 2–3 weeks.

Yes. I operate in both public and private hospitals in Perth. Public patients may have longer wait times, while private patients may access surgery more quickly, depending on availability.

There are out-of-pocket costs for consultations and surgery. If you have private health insurance, your fund may cover part of the fees. We’ll provide a detailed quote and explain all rebates before your appointment.

Recovery varies depending on the procedure. Most patients having minimally invasive surgery can return to light activity within 1–2 weeks. I’ll provide detailed recovery instructions tailored to your procedure.

Some discomfort is expected, but we use modern techniques and tailored pain management to keep you as comfortable as possible. You’ll receive a clear pain relief plan before going home.

Driving: Usually within 1 week

I see patients by referral only, typically from a GP, gastroenterologist, or gynaecologist. Urgent referrals such as cancer are seen within a week.
